Hola. We are well recuperated from the San Sebastian Fiestas which as you know in Puerto Rico mark the end of the Christmas season. La San Se as they call it was as usual, full of people, we saw the signs for selling "bacalaitos" at $8 (but did not buy any). Our daughter's booth was always busy, she sold many of her paintings. Tito and I attended the procession which started at Plaza de Colon with the patron Saint Sebastian and ended at the Cathedral and went to the mass in his honor.
On Tuesday at our regular meeting, we had as speaker, Tito Matos Capifali, who explained everything about the system that produces water from the air, and how it is being used in many parts of the world where they do not have potable water. We started thinking of a project that could be developed for communities in Puerto Rico that lack potable water, since that is one of the Rotary goals. We had some visitors, John Shapiro President of the Santurce Rotary Club, Jose Luis Rivera, President of the PR-USA Chamber of Commerce, and Ed Obie and Naomi, from the Olympia Rotary Club in Washington.
Next Tuesday, January 30, our meeting will be by Zoom:
