Almost 20 people gathered last night at Tinto & Blanco and contributed to a very nice evening. Juanita got leads for speakers. If you would like to hear any specific person, please let me or Juanita know so that we can invite them.
We missed Maria and Pepito who were not feeling well, hope that is over.
Raymond Morales, the Assistant Governor, visited too. He took the opportunity to begin coordinating an Intercitadina sponsored by the District, which would include all the clubs of Area I. We will let you know the date so you can all plan and be with us that day.
I take this opportunity to remind you of next week’s luncheon speaker, which is the Executive Director of the Pablo Casals Foundation The week after next is Cameron McKenzie, talking about his super interesting life which includes making a fortune, and maybe losing it? He is also the Consul from Japan. You would not want to miss that. (Remember to look in Club Runner for Club Activities).
Tomorrow Saturday in Manati, we will receive a visit from RI Jeremy Hurst, he will address us at the Membership Seminar. If you are interested, everybody is invited, there is a small contribution fee of $20, it has been advertised in the Club Runner for some time. Tito and I will be there, as well as the Governor and representatives from all the Clubs. Would love to see you there.
Remember to invite a friend to have lunch at AFDA next Tuesday, that’ s how we recruit new members! I am giving you this idea at this moment: invite your wife or huband. There is nothing better in life than being able to share the same experiences, go to the same places together, enjoy Rotary both of you, I talk from experience.
