I am happy to report to you that the evening at Tinto y Blanco last Tuesday was a complete success. For a change, they put us at the regular tables in the main room, where we were very comfortable. In fact, some of us stayed until 10 pm. We tried some pinot noir from la Tierra de Castilla y Leon and some Chateauneuf du Pape from France which were much to everybody's liking.
I want to remind you of the Christmas Lunch next week at AFDA, and please if you have not answered yet, let me know if you are coming or not, so that we can have a number of attendees to give AFDA for the lunch preparation. It is going to be the last meeting of 2023 and we should participate, to create more good holiday memories.
I want to share with you that I received an invitation from the Chocolate Cortes Foundation for a fund raiser activity they will be having on the 28th of January. It will be a banquet inspired by our local gastronomy with the participation of Chef Augusto Schreiner, Chef Lorraine, Chef Marisol, Chef Joseph Berlingeri, Chef Juan José Cuevas, Chef Piñeiro and Chef Ricardo de Obaldía. Maestro Cuco Peña is going to oversee the music, there will be an auction of works of art by emerging artists, and many more surprises. You can see the details and purchase tickets at:

I think this may be a perfect holiday gift for those people that have it all, but that enjoy a good Fiesta!
