Governor’s Visit Inspires Rotary Club of San Juan
At our luncheon meeting at AFDA, the Rotary Club of San Juan had the honor of welcoming District Governor Luz Miriam Ortiz, accompanied by Past District Governor Paul Román and Rotarian Luis Nieves.
The visit provided an excellent opportunity to share our goals as a club and engage in a thoughtful discussion about membership growth and innovative approaches to service. Governor Ortiz encouraged members to move beyond traditional expectations and to set bold, challenging goals that reflect the evolving needs of our communities.
Her message was clear—Rotary must continue to think creatively and act with renewed purpose.
We were also pleased to welcome a visiting Rotarian from New Zealand, who joined us for the meeting.
It was an inspiring afternoon that reminded us of the importance of vision, leadership, and continuous growth within Rotary.
